Every year I prepare the tomato planting holes the same way, but this year I can’t plant the seedlings yet because it’s cold and wet due to the daily rains.

Now I’ll tell you how I prepare the holes for planting tomatoes:
Pour 1 tablespoon of wood ash into each hole. It’s rich in calcium, potassium, magnesium, and sodium, which are all important for tomatoes. Ash also reduces soil acidity.

Then pour in the fish meal (also 1 tablespoon in each hole). This organic fertilizer has a long-lasting effect. First, the fish meal is processed by soil microorganisms, and only then does the plant receive all the useful trace elements. The meal is rich in phosphorus, iron, iodine, selenium, calcium, nitrogen, zinc, sodium, and manganese.

Finally, I add Borofoska (1 tablespoon) of phosphorus and potassium mineral fertilizer. In addition to calcium and phosphorus, it contains a wealth of various macro- and microelements necessary for the normal development of tomatoes.
