To prevent the tomatoes from getting sick and to give a good harvest, I always put them in the holes when planting.

All gardeners know firsthand how difficult it is to grow tomatoes, as they are characterized by their quirky nature and therefore require a great deal of effort. Tomatoes often suffer from harmful insects and various diseases. They can also react negatively to watering. To obtain a good tomato harvest, summer residents have to tinker with them.

The first rule all gardeners should follow is choosing the right soil for growing tomatoes. To do this, add fertilizer to the soil in the fall and then dig it up before winter.

List of required additives:

  1. Phosphorus and potassium-based fertilizers,   which should be applied to the beds and then not buried deeply.
  2. Lime.   It is used to increase soil acidity, as this is unacceptable for this crop.
  3. Bird droppings.   Favorite tomato dressing. The organic matter this fertilizer is rich in is essential for tomatoes when they develop a green mass and a strong bush. The fertilizer should be spread over the entire soil surface and buried to the depth of a shovel.
  4. Fertilizer and ash  . This fertilizer is necessary during flowering and fruit formation.

Important recommendations before growing tomatoes:

During the planting period, the use of mineral mixtures is not recommended, as they have a strong effect. During this time, the plant must first gain green mass and form strong roots.

Fertilizer is not applied in spring when planting tomatoes. This procedure is carried out in the fall so that all the necessary components have time to disperse into the soil. This does not only apply to nitrogen fertilizers, which decompose quickly and are washed away with water.

In addition, the soil should be nourished with a manganese and yeast solution 24 hours before transplanting the seedlings. To do this, dissolve 10 grams of yeast in a bucket of water and let it sit for a day.

Instructions for use:   one glass – one tub.
